Cant format or use SD card in Pan camera

Just bought a regular and pan wyze camera.
I was able to format and use an sd card in the regular.

I put one in the pan camera and when I hit format it always says operation failed. When I try turn on sd recording it says no sd card inserted. I tried a couple different cards and nothing changes.
Tried formatting to fat32 in my pc but still same thing.

I take it my camera is just a clunker and I need to return it?

Have you only tried that one particular SC card in the Pan, or have you seen failures with more than one different SD cards in that camera?
