I have NEVER been asked this before when having to reconnect the air purifier.
Where is this number found??? Because it’s for sure not on the display.

I’m not completely certain, but it could be on the label somewhere. Or if you go into device info in settings it might have that as the last few digits of the MAC address or serial number or something.
Personally, what I would suggest is to unplug the other air purifier, and then only plug in the one you’re trying to set up and then it shouldn’t recognize anything but the one you’re trying to set up. Problem solved. Select whichever one shows up.

I did that. It still showed 2. I just randomly picked one and it set up… So… I dunno. Lol now to reconnect the other one…
And it wasn’t on the label, and not part of the Mac (which thankfully I had saved when I wrote down all the mac addresses in my house when I switched routers so I could identify and name them correctly) lol

I’ll have to pay attention next time I reset mine. Every few months or so I have one that keeps flickering on and off my network until I go through setup again just to stop the incessant notifications from my router about a device connecting and disconnecting every x minutes. 
I don’t recall seeing that issue though.
