Can you have more than one base unit to support outdoor cameras?

Moved into a new home and tried to set up my outdoor cameras. I have a mesh system that includes an outdoor mesh unit. I can’t mount my camera in a practical location due to the lack of connectivity with the base unit that is connected hardwired to the router. One idea was to purchase a second base unit and connect to the outdoor mesh . Will this work?

You can’t purchase just a base station for the WCO From WYZE. You might find one with a V2 WCO on Amazon, Walmart or some other third party vendor and hope it isn’t a used one. You would have to delete your current camera from the app while it is online connected to your current base before you could use it with a different base. DO NOT DELETE THE CAMERA IF IT IS NOT ONLINE AND CONNECTED, if you do it will become a nice paper weight. Does your outdoor mesh have an ethernet port to plug a base into/is there power available for the base?

I have ports on the outdoor mesh unit and a power source nearby. I will start my search for another base. While i can connect to my existing base, it is spotty at best so i will be mindful about deleting the camera.

Thanks

There are some base/cams on ebay but the prices are really stupid. Walmart shows a “Restored” base and camera for $38.03.
