They physically don’t turn fast enough so I might need to send these back and try something else if that can never be changed by a firmware update or whatever
Are any of the other ones faster? If not, the still cameras still have the same “tracking” features right they just don’t turn?
There is a speed adjustment in the settings for the cam but that only applies to certain things (pan/scan and maybe track motion). If you need something faster then yes I would return them and look for other options.
For manual moving, you can swipe on the image to move the cam and that is faster than using the arrow buttons.
The still cameras will tag motion that is within their field of view, but cannot track it once it leaves. Some have a “smart zoom” feature where they zoom in on the motion and try to track it, but that’s very different from actual camera moving.
