Can’t cancel camera sharing with another user

Hi all, I can’t unshare the camera with one specific user. Somehow it doesn’t update and keeps telling me that it is still shared since the accepted date.
Has anyone gotten this problem and know how to fix it? Thanks in advance

I have not had any issues cancelling a shared camera. Can you provide the steps you have taken?

here is what I have done:

  • start the app
  • Go to Account (Bottom right)
  • Select Sharing
  • Select the name of the person you wish to stop sharing
  • Click on the Pencil (Top Right) to edit
  • Uncheck the devices you wish to cancel sharing for
  • Select Update.

Hi @spamoni thank you for your answer. I did exactly these steps as always and also tried directly from the settings of the camera but when I click “update” it comes back to the page showing it is still shared with that person.
I have tried doing it with another user and it does indeed cancel the camera sharing.
Any idea why this is happening?

Note that when you stop sharing a camera, it does NOT instantly stop sharing. That person may still see the camera for something up to a week before it actually goes away.

Hi @K6CCC, thank you for your comment. I understand it can’t take some time. However it has been more than 3 weeks that I have been trying to delete this user from camera sharing and it doesn’t work. I never had any issues in the past with any users but just having one now with one specific user.
Can still do it normally with any other user I am sharing the camera with.
Would it be a problem with the user’s account?
