Are you trying to connect using your home Wi-Fi (or wherever your cameras are)? Did you give the Wyze app “Local Network” access? These topics might be instructive:
IOS 18.0 official release and beta versions will not connect to cameras within the app when on the same wireless access point. Failed to connect Error (code -22005)
It does not matter if I’m using 2.4 or 5Ghz on the same access point, it will not connect. On another wifi or mobile data, it connects fine.
I had hoped WyzeBeta app might have had fix, but it doesn’t. My daughter uses the latest IOS 17 update & has no issues.
Private relay off or on makes no difference. Enabling or disabling VPN …
I’m running the iOS 18.1 beta on my iPhone. Ever since iOS 18 beta was released, I have not been able to connect to the cam. I’ve reported this to apple too. Blue light on camera. Gets an up address. But when I try to connect I get:
Failed to connect.
Error: (code -22005)
Or
Connection failed
Please try: 1. Force close app and retry
Power cycle the camera
Which I have tried with multiple versions of the beta.
I’ve removed the device and successfully rewarded it but with no luck.
