I’m running the iOS 18.1 beta on my iPhone. Ever since iOS 18 beta was released, I have not been able to connect to the cam. I’ve reported this to apple too. Blue light on camera. Gets an up address. But when I try to connect I get:
Failed to connect.
Error: (code -22005)
Or
Connection failed
Please try: 1. Force close app and retry
Power cycle the camera
Which I have tried with multiple versions of the beta.
I’ve removed the device and successfully rewarded it but with no luck.
Reaching out here to see if any of y’all can help.
Have you tried from outside your home wifi network? Another poster said theirs would not allow local connectivity until they went in and gave some “local” permission to the Wyze app.
There was another thread here where someone could not connect to the cams from their home wifi (but could from outside of it) and they had to go in and grant the wyze app some local connectivity permission in IOS 18 beta.
