My cam v3 has been working for several months. A few days ago the app said it was offline. There was also a message about no internet connection. I have 2 other cams that work fine. It was been sitting on a table with no change in temperature or falls or any disturbance. I plugged it into different outlets and there were no sounds or startup activity. I swapped the power adapter with one that works. I held down the reset button for over 10 seconds but nothing brings it to life. If it was just a router problem, it would still startup , right?
Yes, the camera will power up without a WiFi signal.
