This is kind of confusing and different than v4, because now I don’t see the events from cloud for v3 inside v3 confusing
You have to go outside the camera v3 to view event, doesn’t seems organized at all

Which is why I believe the interface was changed for all cameras after the V3.

So is the cam v3 recording to both sd and cam plus at the same time?
I think mainly one problem is that there is no detail documentation unless I missed it some how
Yes, if that’s how you have it set up. Cloud storage (cam plus) and local storage (SD card) are two separate functions on your cameras. You can have one, both or neither enabled at any time.

So I figured I’d try to chime in here on the difference and where to find things. My buddy Tony’s hard at work everywhere else as well lol
He posted some links to the many many articles we have but at the same time it would take a while to find just the info covered in my two screenshots here.
So if you’re viewing your home screen with all your devices, the events button at the bottom Will take you to the cloud recordings. Those are only when the camera detects motion and cannot be set up for continuous.
If you’re looking at a single individual camera, you can go into the SD card with the area I’ve circled here. And this can be set up to record when the camera detects motion or continuously. (And is completely free from subscription even on newer cameras)
The square clip looking images below the live view on this second screenshot will take you to that particular cloud clip which In most cases would require the subscription.
Hope that helps with simple clarification. I peruse through the many replies in this hoping to be able to chime in and just drop some quick knowledge and hopefully help out somewhere.

I wanted to make sure the difference there is distinguishable. In my ears of using these cameras it’s too easy for me to slip into the - oh everybody knows type mentality. I don’t want to appear condescending. just posting it for clarification.
