Somewhere in time within the past couple of months, Cam Protect features and functions were restored to their original app capabilities. I was checking to see when I should cancel my subscription based on renewal date and discovered it is working as when I first subscribed. I had been advised to create a ticket and request a refund but decided to hang in for awhile. My patience paid off and now the service is back to normal. Guess I will hang in for another renewal.
Kudos to Wyze technical support for the fix.
