Cam Plus not showing devices

Are you able to live stream the 3 cams that don’t have a license applied?

I haven’t tried that and not sure how

From Wyze app Home, tap the cam icon to see if the cam shows a live view of whatever it’s pointed at.

When you live stream your camera do you see the following on the Home Screen and the Settings Screen?

Also, you can restart but do a factory Reset of the device. Basically, delete the device from your app then follow these directions to reset the camera before adding it back.

Then see if you can add the Cam Plus licenses when added again.

Note: When I did this in the past, the Camera Installed with the 14 day trial Cam Plus License.

Yes…I see live streams and that icon, but not the PLUS icon

Please log into the Wyze Services website from a browser using the same email address that you use for your Wyze app and verify that your 4 Cam Plus licenses are listed.

What is your Wyze app version number? Wyze app Home > Account > About. You should be at 2.29.2 (127).

Also… Please log back into the Wyze Services website from a browser. Do you see an ā€œEditā€ link to the right of your subscription? Don’t select Edit, I just need to know if it appears or not. A screenshot of your Subscriptions page would be helpful.

It appears that you may be one of the unfortunate users whose account was not properly transitioned during the CPL rollout. I’m not sure how Wyze has been correcting these accounts and I don’t have access, so I’m tagging @JimmyHa here for assistance.

I think I found the issue…those 3 cameras that are not listed all have the RTSP firmware. The one that is working does not. I bet I have to re-flash those cameras without the RTSP

that was the answer! I re-flashed the cameras without the RTSP firmware and now I can assign the licenses! Thanks to all that helped.

That was one of the issues quite sometime back. You can use RTSP with CamPlus, but you need to configure CamPlus BEFORE flashing RTSP. If done in that order it seems to work.

This is a great example of why when we help each other, we ask for actual version numbers and try not to accept ā€œit’s up to dateā€. Firmware version would have immediately pointed to RTSP.
