Cam Pan v3 or Wyze App?

I’ve had a Cam v2 for a year or so now. I recently bought a new Pan Cam v3, and nothing has been the same since.
I just watched a car go by using the app on my iPad, but the Pan Cam 3, did not detect the motion.
A few minutes ago, using the app on my iPhone, the Cam v2 picked up a motion at 1:40:35. A few minutes later I opened the app on my iPad, and it picked up a motion with the same Cam v2 30 seconds later (at 1:41:05). There were two different vehicles travelling in two different directions, 30 seconds apart. I don’t understand why they both didn’t appear on each device? One appears in my iPhone app, the other in my iPad app.
The last few days I’ve power-cycled each camera multiple times, and I’ve factory reset the Pan Cam v3 twice, as well as delete and reinstall the app on my iPhone twice … yet the Pan Cam v3 is still 98% blind to any motion unless the it’s directly in front of it.
I am flummoxed.

Are you looking at the event tab to see this? Are you using filters to only display certain types of events on both devices? For troubleshooting, remove all event filters from both devices to make sure that all events are shown. Is there a cam plus license on both cameras?

Hi and thanks.
Yes, the Events tab.
I have cam plus license for each camera, and until today I had them both Cams with identical settings and to detect “ALL” rather than smart detections.
The filters have been cleared.
A new strange thing is that I can’t use detection zones. This just started today after I deleted and reinstalled the app (twice), in an effort to try and figure out why Pan Cam doesn’t want to play … the app crashes when I try touch the screen to adjust the detection zone.
I did hear back from support a few minutes ago after not hearing anything from them since Friday morning.

That isnt desired. When you delete and reinstall the app, i would also do a phone or device restart in the middle just to make sure everything is running fresh and ready for the new install.

what was their recommendation or findings?

When the app started crashing after the first delete/reinstall, I deleted it again, shut my iphone off, and started it back up again.
Still waiting to hear back from support. I sent them a log for each camera as requested.
I’m guessing they are stumped, although it’s been only 4 hours since I last heard from them.

Omgitstony,
The support staff threw their hands up in the air … “ This request will now be closed as we are unable to offer any further troubleshooting.”.
It’s been handed off to the developers and they said to keep an eye out for a firmware update … not sure I want to sit around waiting for that, it’s not what I bought the camera for.
