Has anyone tried the Cam Pan v2 through a window with success? I have the original and it works great during the day but not at night. I’m just wondering if the night vision can penetrate the glass or any tips.
The night vision IR emitters will reflect off of the glass back into the cam and will not give you a good image. This is true of any cam with IR emitters.
So long as there is ample ambient light outside to provide the starlight sensor with enough to produce an image, it should work with Color Night Vision, but this depends on your specific lighting situation.
