Cam 3 Window Mount with night vision and double-pan glass

Hi, does anyone know if Night Vision works with Cam 3’s Window Mount?

I’d also be curious if there’d be glare when we’re talking about a window that has double or even triple pane glass. Anyone have that sort of experience?

Night Vision works, but you cannot use the IR lights behind any glass, including with the window mount. Best thing is to add an IR source outdoors.

You will get increasing reflections from double or triple-pane windows, and with separation of the glass, like when blinds are between the panes. The mount works best on single-pane windows.

If there is any light visible outside the window why not leave “Night Vision” OFF and use the color Starlight function. I
