Since my floodlight cam periodically goes offline and stops recording to the micro sd card , a great feature to add to the app would be a notification that the camera is offline or that recording to the micro sd card has failed.
These are existing Wishlist requests:
As with any Wishlist topic, you can visit those to click or tap the Vote button above the initial post and share your ideas and use cases in the comments to show your support for the product and feature request/suggestions that are important to you.
Also note that some Cams’ offline status is already reported in the app. I can’t speak specifically to Cam Floodlight v2, but you can check in your Wyze app at Account ➜ Notifications ➜ Push Notifications to see if you have a toggle for Device Connectivity Notifications (Pilot). If that’s off (), then you can try toggling that on ().

Updated to correct second link because I’d previously pasted the same Wishlist topic link twice.
Cam offline alerts have been in the app for quite a while now (you can make sure they’re enabled under the main app settings). Make sure you have the latest or at least a recent version of the app.
I want to say I even saw a micro SD card issue alert once (I have one cam that I only use on occasion that had a known problematic card). But I may be imagining that.
I haven’t played with it a ton, the alerts do come through after 15-30 minutes but sometimes not for all cams. It likely has to do with what each cam has configured for notification settings, I’m guessing if notifications are totally disabled, it won’t give this one either. Most of mine have notifications on, with many of them being for smoke/co alarm sounds only with all other types off, but I think I have a couple that they’re totally off, and those are likely the couple that don’t alert me when the cam is offline. It is pretty infrequent for my wifi to be off for that amount of time so it isn’t something I’ve been able to test much or paid much attention to.
