Cam AI detects stationary car whenever the dog goes out

I have a vehicle parked in the camera view but ANY motion detects that the car has moved when it hasn’t moved. :unamused::dog2::red_car: #AI

Yeah. That’s the way it works. The camera itself detects ONLY motion. Then the clip is uploaded and Wyze servers identify objects in the frame, without knowing which caused the motion.

I have a 3x3 square patio box on my front porch with a sign directing people to put packages in the box (about 90% do). Every time a car goes by, Wyze says I have a package because AI sees the box.

Do you need to have the AI Setting for Vehicle turned on? If not, you can turn it off.

We get the same issues, and we even have it set down to 44

Good call. Vehicle detection was on. But why would it say package and not vehicle?

I turned it off. Let’s see what happens.

The AI only identifies objects it sees ATM. It doesn’t consider movement. What @Customer said is right – “The camera itself detects ONLY motion. Then the clip is uploaded and Wyze servers identify objects in the frame, without knowing which caused the motion.”
