Just lingering but didn’t ring the doorbell…
The way it was throwing its butt around, i was almost reaching for the singles… (ugh, sorry… sounded like some red-neck)… I do love bumble bees… i miss the big guys…
Nice!
Thats interesting how its wings look, must be something with the cams shutter speed and the frequency that it moves its wings.
I agree KyGuy2002.
I just LOVE bumble Bees… the nice, big fat, hairy bumble bee… last one i saw was when i went to St Augustine… he was awesome… he climbed into this flower, and his weight sent the end of the flower almost tot he ground… he went from one to the other, and my wife and I watched him the entire time… he was lovely… back in the UK they were all over… bet thats not the case now, the collapse of them, and other bee’s is alarming… Thanks for sharing that video… if he happens to come back, love to see more videos…
Wow, I am impressed the camera caught this things wings as many times as it did. Bumble bees flap their wings at a rate of 230 beats per second, which should make them virtually invisible here, but the Wyze cam still caught the wings as many as 8 times per wing in a single frame at 20fps:
That’s pretty cool.

My v3 cameras are behind double pane windows so no buzzing sound like the OP’s video.
Bzzzzz. When I was about 5 a black jacket flew up my pants leg and did a biopsy of my thigh. I was at a party and had to take my pants off in front of icky girls. The bee was still attached to my thigh. I don’t remember any more of that experience.
In my younger motorcycle days (back in the 80s), I got stung a couple of times when a bee flew inside my t-shirt and got mad. I always wore leather on the freeway but would zip down to the store wearing shorts and a t-shirt.
I got smarter in my old age as I will not get on any road now unless I have at least 4 wheels. IMO, people drive worst today than back in the 80s.
My wife is allergic to bee stings. Back in the 80s is when I found out I am not allergic.
When my younger son was about 7 a wasp stung him in the white of the eye. He could see it flapping around on the drive to hospital. He wouldn’t let either of us touch it. A pretty nurse in ER just walked up to him, sat down and pulled it out. He was so smitten by her he forgot about the wasp.
