Is there a minimum requirement for height for a light fixture to use with the bulb cam? I’m thinking of a farmhouse style gooseneck light but that leaves a lot of the bulb cam exposed. Videos all show glass surrounding the entire bulb portion.
I’m not aware of a minimum. I think the maximum listed in the recommendation is to provide adequate clearance for the camera portion of the device in order to minimize obstruction of the view or light glare from above. I currently have a Bulb Cam in a very plain jelly-jar-style fixture (similar to this), but I plan to 3D-print an enclosure so that it doesn’t look so bare. With the kind of fixture I think you’re describing, I believe what’s acceptable is going to depend largely on your æsthetic.
