My flood light camera is mounted on to edge of the gable at 14’. It doesn’t seem to pick up much . Is that to high?

Not sure which version of floodlight you are using, but the standard height recommendation is 10ft.
It could be to high or you need to adjust your PIR and detection sensitivity.
I have the Wyze cam v2. The flood light comes on and works perfectly but the seldom works I hardly know where to set the pir and sensitivity. I’ve tried full and back off about 50 but no change. It is set to pick up pets vehicles person and package.
