I’m still waiting for the robins to start building their nests here in Wisconsin. The cameras are in place.

@mvb, you been scarce lately. Snowed in? :snowflake: :snowman_with_snow:

All the robins are at my house, I’ll send them East to you.

Should I clean the birdhouse or leave it alone?

There are lots of robins here. They just haven’t starting building nests, in my yard anyway.

If the bluebirds are not coming into the house, I’d say clean it out.

Clean it out and send out invitations for new residents (Bluebirds) only.

Thanks…that was my thinking.
I will monitor the house on the event videos. If no activity in a few hours it is getting cleaned for new tenants.

Bluelining?

Have had a lot of bluebirds perch at the entrance hole, look in, and then leave.

I decided to remove just the egg and not the nest. If still no birds in the house this time tomorrow the nest will be removed.

Yes, @Antonius I washed my hands

Here is a tenant for you:

Don’t mess with me :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

I can offer up a possum or a skunk if you prefer. The :raccoon:'s have to stay here with me.

How about Rocket J. Squirrel?

The bluebird house has the beginnings of a nest.

:crossed_fingers: there is a brood.

Raise the rent .

Might have an egg or 4 soon.
