Hi, I purchased a couple aftermarket outdoor housings and the black would not fit and white fit perfectly. so if your gonna go outside you may wanna stay with the white cams. the specs on both boxes are the same but their off by 1/2mm.
I really want to make a joke here, but I probably shouldn’t.

Strange, I have a black cased V2 cam that I put into a white enclosure (assuming white is for a white cam?) and it fit nice and snugly, no issues. I just got a couple of white V2 cams, so maybe I should compare casing sizes to verify this…
