Battery Can Pro

Was looking at the Battery Cam Pro. On the product page, under one of the question about a power adapter it says it comes with “three removable rechargeable battery packs,” See pic.

But then under “What’s in the box” it shows one battery pack? See pic.

I assume the three is a huge typo?

Welcome back to the forum. Good find… The 3 pack comes with three batteries, but the single camera only comes with one. I’ll pass along to get corrected.

I don’t think it’s actually a “typo”. The screenshots give me the impression that you either clicked a pre-loaded question or asked your own and the AI tool being used on the page provided an inaccurate answer. I’m not seeing this in the static content on the page, and I don’t know what question prompted the response from the AI that you’re showing in your first screenshot.

It’s still a problem, though. Whatever means Wyze is using to communicate to customers shouldn’t be providing erroneous information like that.

It is under one of the question on the product page as mentioned. Not a question I asked. All the product pages have FAQ’s on them.

I understand that the product pages have FAQs, but that’s not what your first screenshot appears to show, and I’m not seeing that information in the static content on the page. At some point—I don’t know when—they added the “AI” tool for answering questions (represented by the tab on the right side of the screen/image) with pre-loaded questions that customers can click to get generated answers or customers can ask the bot a question, and that’s separate from the FAQ tab that’s just to the right of the “What’s in the box” section of your second image. I’m guessing you clicked one of the questions and got a bad answer from that tool, and I’ve asked for someone from Wyze to reply to your initial post but haven’t yet seen a response.

It is right here every time the page loads. So is right on the product page. It is also a great question. They also show some sort of holder/charger in one of the pictures. Does it come with a power adapter to charge it or do you need your own adapter and cable?

Really does not matter what generated it. They have it on their product page.

You illustrated what I’ve been saying, which is that this is generated content from the AI and not static to the product page. I’ve loaded the page several times and have never seen the question you highlighted in your most recent image. I had to manually ask, “Is a power adapter included in the package?” That gave the erroneous answer you illustrated going back to your first image.

We agree that there’s a problem, and two volunteers have notified Wyze about this. The root of the problem matters, because that determines the approach to solving it, and clearly you’ve illustrated an issue with the AI tool they’re using to answer customers’ questions. It’s not a static piece of content (as is the FAQ) that a human would go edit for a quick fix, and I don’t know how they manage the data that their AI model is consuming for this task.

I believe that’s the Battery Charging Dock, which is a separate product. It’s shown with two Removable Battery Packs, which are also sold separately.

As you indicated in the “What’s in the box” section of your first post, a power adapter is not included. This is also noted in the “Tech specs” section, that Battery Cam Pro includes a ½m USB-A to USB-C cable and no power adapter and that they recommend an adapter with 5V ⎓ 2A output.

Thank you for clearing up the bit about the AI and confirming my earlier suspicions.
