We have several various Wyze camera models and run anywhere from 12-16 on our farm at any given time. During a terrific over 100 mph wind storm two nights ago, a telephone pole snapped off with a battery cam pro and a separate (original) solar panel attached. We found them face down under the pole, planted in the mud and water. When the mud was wiped from the front of the cam, the light was still on. It was still working and still is. The only thing broken besides the pole are the two brackets, so rehanging them may take some invention. Photos are of the camera sitting on the pole where it fell, and a screenshot of the video it was taking of my dog sitting out by the barn.
Do you have video of the actual fall, that would be potentially comical to add various audio on top of 
The meteor that hit over new england last week wasn’t all that impressive on the cams but seeing them shake (well anchored to windowsills) was a bit nauseating. Sonic boom/shock wave at 20FPS has a very odd look to it.

Although I haven’t had to deal with winds that high recently (though I saw reports of that north of here a couple of nights ago), I’ve been impressed by how my outdoor solar-powered Cams have weathered some recent hailstorms. I hope that you and your family (including the dog) are safe and that you don’t have too much more clean-up to do.

Wish we did! That would have been entertaining! The pole fell so fast that it didn’t get anything but a quick smear of black as it was totally dark outside. If the spotlight came on it didn’t come on quickly enough before it was face down in the mud.
