There is no option to switch aux. Heat or emergency heat in the menu. If my heat pump is malfunctioning I need to be able to prevent it to start and If I want aux.heat from the furnace I need to be able to force it on. All other thermostat I have seen and used have this function.

I would strongly encourage Wyze to add this feature. High end heat pumps that have a secondary heat source measure the outside temperature and depending on the costs of fuel will switch to the most efficient source out heat for the ambient outside temperature. If the app would let you select a local wunderground station as an outside temp source. The app could automatically switch from normal to AUX at a user defined set point, making the heating system much more efficient. Marketing could figure out how to make this a discriminator for this thermostat from others on the market
