Would love the ability to tap a shortcut on the Apple CarPlay screen. I don’t need camera views and stuff that would make it unsafe while driving… just shortcuts
Even just notifications with thumbnails would be nice.
I like this idea. I see no reason that non video info couldn’t be provided in CarPlay. In addition to Shortcuts, other info may be possible: contact and motion sensor status, for example.

CarPlay garage door button

I have not ran across any movement, although this would be a very wonderful feature to add. In the meantime, I have an apple shortcut that had to be set up. This shortcut goes from the shortcuts notification through the Google network via a Google Home mini and then will open my garage door most of the time. Unfortunately, I have to tap on my screen, thankfully, there is a stop sign a short ways away from the house to do so. I would also love to see the Wyze products eventually work with the Apple Home app and avoid having to do all of this just by asking Siri to open the garage door.
