When I want to look at the camera in portrait mode, now I have to pull down the tab. When I do so, the camera does not let me resize the image, but is zoomed way in. Why does it not allow me to freely zoom out to a comfortable custom size? This is another thing that has only been so since the new firmware update.
Please allow the app to be viewed in portrait mode without zooming way in. Allow users to expand the viewing area to their own liking.
Specifying which camera(s) you’re using in a case like this would be helpful, because Wyze hasn’t used the same UI for all models (though they’re supposedly working on trying to make the UI more consistent across Cams going forward).
Also, when you say “new firmware update”, specifying a version number can be helpful if you want feedback from the community. (Again, the Cam model matters.)
Possibly even better would be to post to the Wyze News category that’s relevant to the particular Cam and firmware version where you noticed the problem appearing. That’s likely a more effective way to get the eyes of someone from Wyze on the issue.
