App Dark Theme/Mode

This is the latest response I’ve seen from a Wyze employee, quite a good Joe in my estimation:

It’s apparently more difficult to implement than it would seem. I don’t understand why that would be but I’m not a programmer so I don’t reject the possibility.

I think if it were easy they would have done it long ago. The last thing you want is customers cursing you in the darkness when they’re using your app.

(iOS v 2.6.62) Is anyone else as unhappy with this new app as I am?

Unfortunately, there is not much progress that I"m aware on supporting landscape mode but I’m remote from app development. The only thing I know is the current architecture of the app and the way it is being developed makes changes across the app very difficult to achieve. For example, in the very requested topics: Dark Mode, Landscape Mode or iPad version.
