This came from support. It fixed it for me.
" Based on your description of the problem, it sounds like your phone may be struggling to bear the full cache utilized by the app. To help mitigate this, I would recommend turning on Hardware Decoder.
To turn on Hardware Decoder:
- Open the Wyze app
- Navigate to the Account tab
- Tap App Settings
- Tap Camera
- Enable the toggle next to Enable Hardware Decoder"
