And in Ontario we have this. The two on the left are Southern Ontario and the two on the right are Central Ontario. Both places cold with lots of windchill.

My family was in Chicago about 15 years ago. We were having breakfast at a restaurant and I was admiring the view of whatever lake we were by. Then I look back out the same window and it is like a blizzard. Never saw ‘lake effects’ before.
