Allow customers located in Mexico to buy direct from Wyze

Hi Alexsip,
I just bought my cameras on Amazon MX but I’ve not subscribed to any of the services. So far, I’m all set with my current setup: V2’s, a decent wifi connection and a 32 gig memory card. One of Waze’s recent updates introduced a functionality that allows to pinpoint the exact moment of an event in the memory card and that solved one of my main complains and needs. Of course I’d love to be able to view the camera feed in my Nest Hub but I’ve learned to live without it. Perhaps a workaround for you would be to use an Amex cc. It used to be an effective method to pay for US based services outside of the US. Hope that helps.

Hi @UserCustomerGwen. Any way you could allow for Mexican billing addresses? I want to buy directly from your site and send it to a friend in the us, but I can’t since it only accepts billing addresses in the us and Canada. Thanks in advance!

I don’t know if that’s something we can do right now but you should be able to get around that by using Amazon Pay on our website. Sorry for the inconvenience!

@UserCustomerGwen Now that Canada is coming to an end, Mexico needs love too please <3 There’s so many Wyze products I want to get. I don’t mind buying them from amazon Mexico even if I lose the warranty tbh… Prices were fair and I bought like 3 wyze cams, 4 bulbs, wyze kit with the sensors, I’m just missing everything else (band, scale, outdoor cam, door, doorbell and thermostat) and I’m gonna need more sensors for my new home. Hopefully next year this will be possible!

I definitely know better than to promise timelines for now but we’d love to make it to Mexico, too!

@UserCustomerGwen Hmmm… I feel like that one was directed at me haha
But it is a catch-22 - the customers will get upset if you don’t, and the customers will demand more and more updates if you do.
Silence on a matter, from our side of things, is far more frustrating than being thrown tidbits every now and then. Even if it’s a simple, ‘sorry, guys, but there’s not much I can tell you at this point.’

It was directed at @Trecar, the person she responded to.

I prefer silence over BS. If WYZE can’t give a date and stick by it then that is what needs to be said.
@UserCustomerGwen is being honest.

Nope! Not directed at you. For personal context, I used to give more updates on topics that were making slow progress, @AdonistheGreat. But that actually got people REALLY sick of me. They thought it was a waste of everyone’s time to tell them that nothing was changing yet and it ramped up frustration much more quickly. Now I do periodic updates so that folks can still have the more recent news (if any exists) but I balance not giving false hope too often when they see my name pop up.

@UserCustomerGwen I was just joking with my reply because of all the times I requested an update. I knew you weren’t directing it at me. (Angus: don’t worry, buddy. It was obvious her reply wasn’t directed at me!) :+1:

Whew! I’m relieved because I definitely wasn’t trying to call anyone out!

I would love to buy a Wyze Robot Vacuum but I live in Mexico. I hope to buy it someday. In the meantime I’ll continue my life without a robot vacuum.

Please add support for Mexico. I brought my Sprinkler controller from the U.S. for my home in the Yucatan which needs intelligent watering more than just about anywhere. The weather forecast for the Yucatan is available on the internet, so I don’t understand why you don’t want to expand your markets into Mexico and other countries.

Can’t you just buy in the USA and carry it down to mexico? Or buy in USA, ship from San Diego post office down to mexico (forwarding service)?

They sell nest and other products in home depot mexico. Not sure I’ve seen anything wyze. Phillips is there.

Hello, I would like to see official Wyze cams sold by Wyze in Mexico, thank you
