All my cameras went offline

It seems that all of my cameras went offline. I have gone through all the troubleshooting steps and they just won’t pair back with my Internet.

Any suggestions?

Have you done the obvious like rebooting your router and phone?

Any changes to your internet service, hardware, etc?

I did not since I hadn’t had any new devices or changes to my router/internet or was that suggested in any of the troubleshooting steps from Wyze.

That was the fix and thank you for the suggestion.

As much as we all like to joke about the ISPs telling you to reboot your modem/router, it actually is sometimes (even frequently) the solution to many things. They’re relatively cheap low powered devices and sometimes they just freeze up and need a reset. What makes it confusing is it isn’t all or nothing, frequently just a portion (wifi, DHCP server, etc) will freeze and other things will continue working.

Even phones/tablets and PCs need a fresh start from time to time.

Glad that fixed it, the easy solutions are the best kind.

3 of my cameras, 2 cameras OG, and one pan V3, all went offline, and wont reconnect. I have tried all troubleshooting methods myself, and with two different wyze phone representatives, all unsuccessful. My “ticket” was escalated to the “priority tech team” 5 days ago and keep getting told they will email me within 24 hours…still nothing. Does anybody know how to get help, or the refund or product replacement i have been offered?

Did you try rebooting everything (router, modem, phone, cameras)? Has anything changed with your setup?

Yes, i have rebooted and reset all cameras, routers, and modems, multiple times.

Have you changed anything with your ISP or equipment, or maybe adjusted some settings like WPA encryption type? Any difference if you’re on the same wifi as the cams vs being on cellular?

Only other thoughts that come to mind:
Power surge could have taken out the wall adapters (might have enough to power them up partially but maybe not run the wifi etc). Try a known good one (at least 1000MA for the OG and 2000MA for the Pan, doesn’t have to be a Wyze brand one).

Something related to the app on your phone - you can try clearing the cache (both within the app and in your phone’s OS), hitting the “reset services” button in the cam settings, etc. Or go the nuclear route and uninstall/reinstall the app.

Could try factory resetting and setting up one of the affected cams from scratch just to see if that helps, but not sure what would have caused 3 of them to all have some issue at the same time.

I have 2x Panv3, 4xOG, and a v4 and all have been working fine so I don’t think it is some sort of major outage.
