Add bridge support to smart plugs for more range

I need more bridge range for additional sensors. It doesn’t make sense for me to use more camera’s in my situation, but I can use the smart plugs. One of the draws of C by GE is that their smart plugs and switches already act as bridges. If your plugs supported the bridges either built in, or plugable like your cameras, I’d go more all in with Wyze.

Stand alone Wyze Sense Bridge

I don’t know if anyone else has had issues with the Bridge, but every few days, mine loses connection to two of the sensors I have been set up. Granted, my steel frame house is a factor, but one of the two sensors is through a wall less than ten feet away. Other systems have had no problem like this. I’m not complaining by any means. You can only expect so much at this price point. However, I can’t help but think a standalone bridge might help alleviate the problem. I’d gladly pay an extra $20 …

Standalone bridge could help. But why waste another socket when you already would be using wyze smart plugs in the house which could function the same way? Either built into the plug (like c by ge) or with a small slot to plug your existing brides into (like your wyze cameras)

This is a much cleaner and much more effective solution than a standalone bridge.
Consumers will never want another bridge, but consumers will want another smart plug.
