Is it possible to have a cam on continuous recording and still have it tag motion events as well?
If you mean does the green motion tag box display on a SD card recording when that option is selected, the answer is yes.
If you mean do people, vehicles, etc get tagged on SD card recordings, the answer is ‘mostly’ no. Those get tagged on cloud event recordings on all cameras, but only on selected cameras with the newer interface when you are talking about the SD card (V3 Pro & Pan V3 ATM).

Thanks for your reply and information. So, by “cloud event recordings” you are talking about the paid cloud monitoring? But it will record continuously and still mark motion events on the timeline?
Ah, you were talking about the SD Card timeline. That depends on the camera ATM. They are working towards a unified interface, but they are doing it one camera at a time. After they finish I do not know whether all cameras will work the same in this respect. As it stands ATM;
V3 – old interface, events NOT marked on timeline
V3 Pro – new interface, events ARE marked on timeline
Pan V3 – new interface, events ARE marked on timeline
OG – new interface, events NOT marked on timeline (maybe because entry-level camera?)
