31 Camera V3 Router access point suggestion

Hi

I have restaurant, which have 31 cam v3 but i have hard time connected to each camera since they keep discounting. I would like to buy brand new router and access point that will work with these cameras.
Base on my research people talk about

  1. ASUS ZenWiFi AX6600
  2. TP-Link Deco Mesh
  3. TP-Link AX1800 WiFi

but all above router is for home not business. Keep mind I have my pos and printer also connected to switch.

I am open to any suggestion.

Thanks

If you have that many Wyze Cams, have you considered the Wyze Mesh Router or the Wyze Mesh Router Pro?

My Wyze Mesh Router Pro 3 node network is carrying 70+ devices without a single dropped device since installing it. My previous TP-Link couldn’t do that. The WMR is rated at 50+ devices per node and the Pro at 75+ per node.

I agree with @SlabSlayer on the Wyze Mesh Routers. Mine has been spot on.

However, if you are only considering the three mentioned, stay away from the Deco. I have had 3 of their routers, which worked great, but the streaming proved to be an issue. The newer models may work well, but I cannot say for sure.

The Asus should work fine, I had the Asus xt8 and it was solid.

But I would definitely look into the Wyze router setup

Then I would stay away from the Deco, from my experience. the others you listed should be ok, but I would lean towards the ASUS.

Please note that I don’t have any of the models you listed but it is based on my experience.

The Deco’s I have used and tested:

  • Deco P7
  • Deco X30
  • Deco X60

All had streaming issues when a lot was going on around my house.

Many times, using access points and extenders, rather than true mesh router nodes, will limit your network. With a true Mesh system, your switch will plug into the root router, and the node routers will operate either on wireless backhaul or on ethernet wired backhaul. Having the routers working together as a coordinated team is what makes the Mesh systems so desirable.
