I never tire of watching this man at his craft. Pure genius and bravery beyond measure.

STILL no fix for vertically stretched video in landscape orientation for iPad with V2 cams.

How are the basics (Live View, SD card Playback and Cloud videos) working for you in 3.18?

I personally do not have issues with anything else … but I do consider a video displaying correctly the absolute most basic aspect of this app.

Thanks for your info. I updated my devices to 3.18. I normally keep my ipad in portrait mode so i don’t notice the landscape problem.

One bonus I noticed on the new 3.18.0(918) Android version is when you are zoomed in on SDcard playback, it stays zoomed in as you 30 second skip (which I like). I just wish the 30 second skip button would remain visibile so I could 30 second skip to the event (like it did in the old 2.5x version). The way it is now, you have to click the screen to get the 30 second skip button back. This could have been due to the recent firmware update to the V3 cameras, but I think I would have noticed that, so it must be from the Android app update (my V3 Pros do the same thing now, and the firmware has not updated on them yet).

It would be even better if they put the time on that overlaid 30 second skip playback screen too, so I would know what time the event occurred (instead I have to zoom back out to see the clock).

The old V2 cameras still work like I like. 30 second skip button stays visible, the screen stays zoomed in, AND the date/time shows on the 30 second skip press.

Thanks for this upgrade!

This is how it has worked for a very long time up until a couple/few releases ago. They fixed what they broke. I’m not sure I consider that a bonus, but I do appreciate the fix.

I also agree :100: that the old camera viewing interface, like the one for v2’s, is FAR superior than the new interface. Based on my personal research, literally nobody was complaining about the old UI other than WYZE employees.

At least they know how to make themselves happy. There is a term for that I learned while visiting the UK. It definitely applies to WYZE in this regard, “bloody self wanker”.
