3.1.5 app & Cam OG Firmware Beta Test 9/12/2024

Cam OG woke up dead when plugged in, swapped cables and brick with a working V4. Used the same working outlet and tried another outlet just for giggles.

Got it awake with a factory reset and setup again.

Any idea why it woke up inactive, but factory reset brought it back? It was sitting around with some other spares not being used amd needing a mounting location. Lol

Resolved. Glitch or something. Factory reset woke it up and it all setup and working again. Weird though it was.

Ok, someone help me out here. It’s really pi$$ing me off :see_no_evil: I have 4 other OGs that updated to 1.0.84 perfectly fine after the 3.1.5 beta, now all the sudden a BRAND NEW OG (purchased and set today 9-30-24) will not update now; is stuck on 1.0.63. When selecting firmware update I get error code 13? I moved it directly on top of router and got the same result…. BUT camera still works as it should EXCEPT when I go to toggle on the spotlight to auto it tells me firmware needs to be updated so when I click update it says camera is up to date. UGHHHHH Why or what is going on?




And still after the beta 3.2 update my OG will not upgrade to 1.0.83 firmware

Have you tried holding down the reset button to factory reset it and start from scratch?

Yes I’ve tried that twice now.

Just suggestions to consider. In no particular order.

Don’t know if it applies or if you tried it.
By the way, I’m using Android.

Reboot router and modem if you haven’t.

Make sure access control in router is off.

Mines Orbi Mesh and older. I turn on access control to prohibit any connection without my approval and I sometimes forget.

Bluetooth on? I think its involved.

Remove SD card from cam if installed. Matter? Not sure.

Phone on the same SSID as connecting cam to? Not sure it matters…might.

Tried blowing out the app and reinstall? At least cleared cache?

Rebooted phone probably?

Still thinking, but try support chat, they “might” be able to help. Or swap it out if all else fails. Gift card etc.

Yep put in for a replacement I’m done fighting it. I’ve deleted reinstalled the camera, the app, beta and regular. Still get error 13 message. :face_with_symbols_over_mouth: so freakin annoying and irritating when you have cameras identical to it and further away and does everything like it’s supposed to.

I usually put in the effort also but at some point for a $20 you just gotta throw in the towel.
