Yea, I would agree. That and other items.
It’s reporting to our backend to monitor battery life and not showing to the users yet.
Hi all, we’ve fixed the SD card and Siren buttons not showing in the app yesterday. Could you please see if it’s resolved on your end?
Testing only under Android beta 2.46.0.365 app on phones and tablets. I have access to the SD from BCP live stream and BCP events under the live stream but don’t see an SD icon for BCP events from the Events tab. Those events were captured yesterday evening. I’ll create some new ones to see if it makes a difference.
Also, I have one phone running the same Android beta 2.46.0.365 app with no access to the SD at all. I force closed the app with no luck. Cleared cache and rebooting it now.
Creating a new set of test events…
From live stream page, I can access SD card via “SD Card” icon for all Android phones and tablets except one. All are running beta 2.46.0.365 app.
Live stream with SD icon present:
On phones and tablets with SD card access, tapping an event under the live stream also results in access to the event on SD and tapping on Jump to SD results in the correct SD timepoint:
With BCP in a group and when viewing an event on SD, tapping the back arrow icon returns user to cam group display instead of returning user to BCP live stream.
One Android 10 phone’s live stream with SD icon missing:
Log ID: 1206027
On all phones and tablets, tapping the Android event notification results in the correct event stream, but the Playback icon is grayed out (icon inop):
On all phones and tablets, SD icon is missing for BCP events under the Events tab:
On phones and tablets with BCP SD access and with phone/tab in landscape orientation, while viewing live stream, tapping on SD Card results in correct SD timepoint, but “SD CARD” text at top of view is overlayed on “LIVE” text. There is no timeline bar to navigate. Tapping on 30-sec backward icon results in “Loading SD Card Stream…” message, but display and app are frozen. I’d send a log, but the submit log icon is also absent and app is frozen. Again, this only occurs when starting the session in landscape mode. If session starts in portrait mode and phone/tab is rotated to landscape once SD stream is displayed, 30-sec icon works properly, but timeline bar to navigate is still missing.
Siren icon is present on all of my Android devices and works properly.

Camera FW v 1.3.20.1993
SD card menu still not present after force closing app, clearing app cache, and reopening the app.

Battery Cam Pro Testing (x2)
Android App Version: 2.46.0 (b365)
FW Version: 1.3.20.1993
I have not seen a new beta yet of camera firmware. 1.3.20.1993 was the one reported with the issues, this is the version I still see, even under “Firmware Update”. I will report if any updates.
Note: I’m on Android, even though this thread was partially for iOS.
Change was made on the backend… your app and firmware are still current.
I see. In that case, SD card playback still not present in any section.
I never had issue of Siren button not present, so no comment for that.

Also Note: On the Event list below the Live Stream, the dropdown for date does not seem to work either anymore. It did yesterday.
Hi @Seapup,
Appreciated the detailed testings!
- One android missing SD card button - We will check your log. Does it help if you exit the livestream page to home page and enter livestream page again?
- The Playback button in the Events tab is missing - We will document this bug and fix this in the next app release!
- No timeline in the landscape mode - This is currently the expected behavior and in the backlog. We’ll discuss this internally.
- App froze after tapping Jump forward/backward for 30 sec - It’s unlikely we’ll fix this in 2.46 release but we’ll document this too and fix it soon.
Hi @R.Good,
Could you please try exiting the livestream page to home page and entering the livestream page again? It works for me during my testing. I didn’t try forcing closing the app but thought it should do the same, yes?
Hi @webcop33
1993 is the latest beta firmware version. Could you please submit an log for us to look?
Thank you!
I just did a force stop and clear cache on my Pixel phone. Loaded the app went to the BCP and the SD Card still does not show.
it did show this morning though, I believe.
I provided log above: 1206164
That is how the the app reacted when the siren option came back. Once the camera connected to the live stream the siren function reappears.
I went into the live stream earlier when I launched this as well it did not come up then, which is why I tried the cache clearing and restart of the app…
Launched live stream and still no SD card function.
I have another thought… will be back in a sec.
Yea my secondary thought did not result in the SD card option showing up.
My camera was in a group. I remove it from the group and went from live screen to homepage back to live stream and the SD function is still not showing.
I then forced closed the app and tried again. SD function still not available.
Cleared cache, closed app relaunched the app, opened the live stream went back to the homepage, then back to the live stream. Still no SD card function.
Log ID 1206466.
Exiting live stream to home page and entering live stream does not help. Also tried clearing app cache, clearing Android cache, reboot phone, restart BCP, log out/log in from app, restart local network, etc. I’m stumped as to why one device out of 9 has no SD access.
Also wondering why I appear to be the only user with SD access. Looks like a server issue… whitelist/blacklist? I can even access BCP SD features from production app versions… this is from current production iOS app version 2.45.5.4:
Hi all, we looked into everyone’s app log yesterday and found out an edge case on the cloud wasn’t handled properly causing users not seeing the SD card option on the livestream if the device was updated to 1993 before the cloud changes deployed. The resolution is to uninstall and re-install the app or go to mobile device’s System > App > Wyze and click clear storage. Please let me know if it resolves your issue.
Thank you!
For the one device that didn’t have SD access, app uninstall/reinstall worked. Thank you!
