Would there be any consideration to either OpenSource the firmware or perhaps allow for user created modules or extensions? I am sure a lot of people in the community with programming/development experience could assist in developing features and functionality to improve WyzeCam.
I don’t speak for Wyze, but given that their whole business model is based on custom firmware/software for an “off the shelf” piece of hardware, I don’t really see that happening.
This would be a great idea and would open many commercial opportunities from the developer community. Who does have open source for similar hardware options?
