I wanted to let everybody know how grateful I am for this forum!
I discovered that I had a digital chime not an analog one when installing the Wyze video doorbell V2
Because of all the screenshots of all the different wiring configurations, because of all the different users and their different feedbacks, I did not have to add anything to my buddy’s house!
I wired the chime controller to the door chime, ran the app with the installation and my doorbell works great!
I thought I was going to have to change the transformer, but I didn’t.
I read everybody’s answers and through patience, this thing worked wonderfully!
Thank you for taking the time to share such a positive experience! My time here began when I was looking for answers about splitting and reconnecting the Light Strips because I wanted to install some beneath kitchen cabinets and needed to span some gaps. A year later (I guess it’s been over three years since I did that project), I signed up to actually post to the Forum, and one of my first posts was follow-up on my experience with the hope that it would help others. I like the idea of giving back.
I also really like Video Doorbell v2 and troubleshooting issues with those, and I’m glad that you’re having a good go with it.
