Good Morning @spamomi,
I did see that I could create an automation and use the “Universal Wi-Fi Chime” in this way, but, it appears that it limits you to just 'Ring", which was not ideal.
I want to be able to select what the available Tunes (Modern Tunes, Classic Doorbell Sounds, Animal, Door Sound, Christmas Sound")
I want something ‘subtle’ for when I leave my refrigerator door open in the garage, rather than something that potentially alarms so loud that I jump out of my chair. I currently have a entry sensor flash multiple lights in the house when that sensor is open for greater than one minute, I want an subtle audible notification as well.
I haven’t tested it yet, but I assume “Ring” will use a generic Door Bell Ring? (I’ll test when I have a chance)
Pulled an unused Entry Sensor out of the box, set it up, created an automation to ring the Wyze Universal Wi-Fi Chime, and as I assumed, it produces the default ‘ding-dong’ doorbell when triggered.
So, until Wyze makes the ‘library’ of sounds available for automation from non-camera devices, I will use this ‘ding-dong’ sound for now to give me a quick audible of events such as the refrigerator door being left open (because I have assigned a sound other than this to the door bell)
