8 of 8 switches from the bulk firmware update page updated with out issues.

I will do some router reboots and shutdowns at different intervals of time and see how they respond.

Did a couple of router reboots… Switches came back up with no issues where I have had many in the past. :+1:

I will take my Wifi down for 30 min this weekend and see what the results are.

Wow, that’s BIG improvement from what you’ve usually experienced.

30 min test completed.

Pulled power from my router at 7:15 PM

Reapplied power at 7:45 PM

It took 2 minutes for the router to fully initialize
Within 6 minutes 2 switches in this 4 bank connected
10 minutes 3 of 4
13 minutes 4 of 4

Within 15 minutes of the reintroducing power back tot the router all switches (8) were back up and connected.

Great job team, in the past I had switches that would not connect in days and I would have to flip the breaker or reset the switch. This is a wonderful improvement.

If I am up late enough I will test an hour outage

@WyzeAndy can I be added to this beta test? I have 8 switches that are all suffering from the disconnect issue. I’m signed up for beta testing and have the beta Wyze app.

To get beta firmware, go to the app, then Account / About / beta program.

Accept the agreement then you will be presented with a list of all devices.

Select which devices you would like to add for beta firmware and click the save button.

After that, you will see beta firmware in the Firmware Update and in the Devices, when one is available.
