Can you manage wyze locks using the APP when you are not within the blue tooth range or connected to the same wifi?
The answer is YES and NO,
The Wyze Lock Bolt only allows you to get a One Time code when not connected via BT. But you cannot lock or unlock it remotely. It is not connected to your home wifi.
The Wyze Lock allows remoted access. But you cannot remotely change the Auto-Lock settings, the Alarm Settings or the lock Volume.
I have both types and love them! They suit my needs perfectly.

Thanks so much. Can I set multiple combinations to unlock either of these locks? and Is it possible to change a lock code remotely when I am away from the house?
With the Wyze Lock, you will need to get the lock/keypad combo. Without the keypad, the lock can only be opened via the app or with a key.
Assuming you have the keypad, the answer to your question about resetting the access code remotely is yes. There is a single primary code. And you can create multiple guest codes. The guest can be forever codes or temp codes. There is a lot of flexibility when you set them up.
As far as the Lock Bolt goes, I don’t remember if more than one code can be set up. I’m away from home right now. But I can say that you cannot change the primary code if you are not in BT range.
