I operate 15 short term rentals across two US markets and already run 8 original Wyze Locks with Gateway across my portfolio. Those work flawlessly through Seam and our property management stack (Hospitable + SuiteOp). The Bolt v2 is the natural successor SKU and the hardware delivers, but a critical API gap makes it unusable for our workflow.
Here is the gap. Through the developer API at developer-api-console.wyze.com we can lock and unlock the Bolt v2 remotely. We cannot create, update, or delete access codes programmatically. For any property manager running guest turnover this is the entire automation use case. Every booking needs a fresh code that activates at check in and expires at check out. Today we have to do it by hand in the Wyze app for every single reservation on every single door.
The endpoints clearly exist, since the Wyze app uses them every day. They just are not documented or exposed on the developer portal for model DX_LB2.
Why this matters for Wyze. Every major lock integration platform (Seam, RemoteLock, PointCentral, OpenKey) sits on top of those endpoints. Until they are exposed, the Bolt v2 is invisible to Airbnb, VRBO, hotel PMS systems, and every operator workflow. The original Wyze Lock plus Gateway works with all of these. The Bolt v2, despite being the newer and better lock, does not. I want to keep buying Wyze for new doors but I cannot standardize on Bolt v2 without this. Operators in my network are quietly going back to the older SKU while it is still in stock, or switching to igloohome, August, and Schlage Encode for every new door. That is lost units at exactly the price point Wyze competes best at.
Specific ask in priority order:

Expose create_access_code, update_access_code, and delete_access_code for DX_LB2 on the developer API

Support scheduled and time bounded codes with start and end timestamps

Support code labels so we can tag entries like Cleaner, Guest 2026-05-20, etc.
