The home monitoring hub needs to support a remote chime like the doorbell. Right now it is a trivial thing to break into a home, walk up to the “binging” object, and unplug it before it phones out with an alarm. If there was a remote chime so I could mute the hub, this attack vector would be mitigated.
Additionally for people with a larger home, having a remote chime could allow for an audible tone by each door to alert the user that the system needs to be disarmed.
