Wyze has blocked access from my country

Thx ā€¦there is no instruction ,They asked me to write them again from same email i using for my Wyze account. Thatā€™s it . I did ,I hope they will contact me again.

How long until two thirds of the world are blocked for security reasons? You know, you can put up an announcements saying ā€œthis and this country is now blockedā€, instead of you gaslight us here for almost 4 weeks. The cameras were 25 bucks each, I donā€™t care about the cost, Iā€™ll just switch to a different brand.

I find it bold to not give any announcements about it. I find it even more bold to block a country for security reasons, instead of addressing the security concerns and requiring 2FA configuration on every single account. But I guess that takes a little bit more lifting than clicking a few buttons to bar an entire country.

You might as well block every country, that way you can address every single security concern. You wonā€™t have anymore issues with security then.

I wonā€™t be using Wyze anymore. Time to take down the cameras and put em in the trash, they belong there.

Preporucujem ti da promenis kamere, i uzmes PoE kamere. Nema ti od Wifi camera nista. Ako ne to, bar uzmi TP Link, njih imam 3 godine, bez ikakvih problema, mnogo stabilnija konekcija. Pored toga, oni nikad nece blokirat zemlju zbog ā€œbezbedosnih razlogaā€ :grinning:

huh,i wish ā€¦i am in Canada, with tax V3 is here CAD$53 +i have to ship to Serbia .

Yessss ā€¦everything is back thx to Wyze cyber team, They whitelisted my account and IP but ā€¦if i am not wrong ,since i have Dynamic IP address ,every time when i restart modem my IP will change ? And i am blocked again -right ?

Anyway, thank you so much to everyone for taking the time to talk to me.

btw ā€¦it would be great if Wyze cyber team (or other departments) notify at least regular customer support so in case like this we donā€™t play "itā€™s your wifi " game :slight_smile: and waste our and their time.

I had the same issue, and after chatting with support for a month, they finally fixed it. Now again the same problem, I guess my IP address is changed. I am also from Serbia BTW, not sure what to do now :man_shrugging:t2: There is no way I am mailing security every time my IP changesā€¦

Hello fr1sk, same problem (imam isti problem).On Monday didnā€™t work, yesterday everything ok but only when I connected to my router, today no event and possibility of playback.

Same things, after two days everything was offline again. Guys from Wyze cyber team was nice and helpful ,they asked for my new IP but until they whitelist IP can change again. It doesnā€™t make sense to bother them .
I guess only way if they donā€™t lift ban is static IP ,which is not free .
I almost give upā€¦ i bought already couple Eufy cameras and started testing, So far great ,i will miss multiple devices live view and IFTTT integration but it is what it is.
