Google nest hub keeps displaying "smart home camera"

On the phone right now with Google, and they are pretending they don’t know of the issue. Maybe it is time to drop Google and use a display from the competitor ! Update 24 Aug 2020: Google finally confirmed they have a compatibility issue with the Wyze cam. The issue is actually with Google. The are actively trying to resolve the issue. No target date yet but I will keep checking with them once a week. Btw, they are also sending me a replacement display hub due to erratic rebooting issues…

Wyze Finally Works With Google Assistant!

I’m sorry, I don’t have an update on this. Google has said that they’re looking into the difficulty that people are having with streaming but we don’t have an ETA for resolution. We know this hasn’t been working for everyone and we’re trying to get it resolved.

Google Home/Assistant Integration

WebRTC is still in the works and Google is looking into an issue with streaming on hubs. Sorry I don’t have more detailed information for you yet!
