Wanted to post this for a long time. The original entry sensor was small and easy to use. This is how I mounted them at a front gate and mailbox and have been in use for years. Use a toothpick container, cut it down to the right size, place a entry sense inside and pop the cap on. Mounted with 3M double sided tape and a simple shim for the mailbox. Waterproof and protected even down to 15F.

I love the V1 sensors. They are small enough to hide. I routed out slots in the tops of doors and placed magnets in the doorframe above them. Unless you are looking for them, you don’t know they are there.
