I’m looking at the product page for the Duo Cam Doorbell, and one of the listed features states:
“Motion-Activated Voice Deterrence – When enabled, a voice prompt plays to alert visitors that they are being recorded.”
My question is whether this feature requires a Cam Plus subscription, or if it is available as part of the standard functionality included with the device.
It should be standard (available without a subscription) and selectable from Duo Cam Doorbell’s live stream screen by tapping Settings ➜ Detection Settings ➜ Motion Warning. When the feature is enabled, that screen gives options of having the Duo Cam Doorbell play either “Wyze Tone” or a voice that says, “Hi. You are currently being recorded.”
I believe the same is true for many other Wyze Cam models.
