I purchased the Wyze Doorbell V2 and trying to find a way to get notifications since the doorbell chime does not work.
I thought I could simply set something up with Google or Alexa where if the doorbell is pushed, an announcement on the speaker can be made, however…
Google Assistant - Doorbell shows as offline in the Google Home app so when the doorbell is pushed, no notifications are being sent.
Alexa - I try to add the Wyze doorbell and when I go though the integration and login to Wyze (using Google), I get the following error.
“We’re sorry, un known error occured. Please try again and contact customer support if this continues”.
I’ve tried connected to wifi and without, used multiple devices (android and IOS) and issue persists. Is someone able to assist or have an alternative solution for a chime.
