Hi Known1. Nice ride! Unfortunately, I’m probably getting ready to sell mine… old age, bad back. ‘99 883 (lol- girls bike). Really torn up about having to sell, but I think it’s time.
Not many people remember the early computer days. Really pretty sad. I never had a Commodore 64- I think I’m one of the few who didn’t have one. Everything was SO slow back then- lots of waiting, hoping to connect, and let’s not forget the fact that no one could use the landline at the same time. I caved and paid for 2 phone lines.
Thank you kind Sir. Wow, that is a beautiful paint job on your ol’ girl. She looks very comfy and I can tell you take VERY good care of her. Hopefully whomever the next owner is continues to show her the respect and care that you have. As you know, the worst thing for any bike is sitting. It takes a wise man to know when to say when and make that very difficult decision.
I’ve never had a motorbike, but this is making me think about what my uncle took a long time to restore. I think it’s a '47 Indian Chief. He used to take it to car shows.
When you called your bike a ‘girls bike’ I thought you were poking fun of yourself. In reality, you were keeping it real. Boy, I feel stupid and sincerely hope you have room in your heart to forgive me.
Principal still holds true, man or woman. It takes a wise person to know when to say when and you Ma’am are one classy and extremely wise lady.
